Landgoed Linschoten near the town of the same name in the province of Utrecht is the largest estate in the Randstad at around 450 hectares . It includes a country house with park, watercourses, monumental farms, grasslands and forests. There are many special plants to be found, such as wild garlic , arum , bird's milk and wild hyacinths . The estate is now a protected nature reserve in its entirety.
Landgoed Lonnekermeer is an estate located between Enschede , Hengelo and Oldenzaal around two lakes . These lakes have been dug for sand holes for the construction of the Twente railway lines .The Lonnekermeer is part of a historic chain of 19th-century estates around Enschede and Oldenzaal.

The Malpie is a nature reserve in the municipality of Valkenswaard .It is best known for its extensive heathland with many large and small fens. There is a walking and cycling area. A cycle path runs from the Venbergse Watermolen to Borkel en Schaft . From this path you have a view of the varied landscape with the fens and the black-headed gull colony. There are also marked hiking trails through the area.
The Manteling van Walcheren is a Natura 2000 area in the 'dunes' category on the Kop van Walcheren in Zeeland between Domburg and the Veerse Gatdam . The nature reserve is approximately 740 hectares in size and consists of country estates, forests and low-lime dunes with wet dune valleys, dune grasslands and dune shrubbery. The Oranjezon dune area is also an integral part of the Natura 2000 area.
The Mantingerveld is a nature reserve north of Nieuw-Balinge in the Dutch municipality of Midden-Drenthe. In 1992, Natuurmonumenten started the so-called Action Goudplevier, which aimed to turn a number of small fragmented forests, heath and peat areas into one large nature reserve again by buying intermediate agricultural land and converting it back into heathland. The Mantingerveld is the result of this successfully completed campaign.

Marstrand is a coastal town in Bohuslän in western Sweden . The place has city rights since 1200. The city is located in the municipality of Kungälv and has 1432 inhabitants and an area of 88 hectares. In summer Marstrand is a popular place for sailing. The sailing competitions of the Swedish match cup are held in Marstrand.
Meerschap Paterwolde is a partnership of the municipalities of Groningen and Tynaarlo and until 1 January 2019 the former municipality of Haren . The Meerschap is responsible for managing the area around the Paterswoldsemeer. The Meerschap manages the Paterswoldse lake, the Hoornsemeer , the Hoornseplas and the surrounding recreational and nature areas.The powers of the Meerschap are laid down in the Joint Regulations Act .
Meijendel is a vast wetland dune and nature reserve west of southern Wassenaar and north of The Hague. It is also a water catchment area and is managed by water company Dunea . With Berkheide , Meijendel is part of the Natura 2000 area Meijendel-Berkheide and the future National Park Hollandse Duinen. In the south of Meijendel lies the Waalsdorpervlakte where between 250 and 280 Dutchmen were executed by the German occupiers during the Second World War.

The Millingerwaard is a nature reserve in the municipality of Berg en Dal in Gelderland and is part of the Gelderse Poort , which has been designated a Natura 2000 area. It includes swamp , meadows , riparian forest and surface water consisting of oxbows and pools. There are some farms and houses in the area where about 20 people live. The Millinger Tea Garden is also located in the Millingerwaard.
