Braakman

The Braakman is a former inlet of the Western Scheldt in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen , near the villages of Biervliet and Hoek in the municipality of Terneuzen , in the Dutch province of Zeeland . For a long time, the water formed a natural barrier between East and West Zeeland Flanders .

Burgh-Haamstede

Burgh-Haamstede is a place at the Kop van Schouwen on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland , in the Dutch province of Zeeland . It consists of two villages, Burgh and Haamstede . Both are still clearly recognizable, Haamstede north and Burgh south. With 4,310 inhabitants (1 January 2021), it is the second largest residential area on the island after Zierikzee.

The nature reserve is approximately 740 hectares in size and consists of country estates, forests and low-lime dunes with wet dune valleys, dune grasslands and dune shrubbery. The Oranjezon dune area is also an integral part of the Natura 2000 area.

De Vogel

De Vogel is a creek and nature reserve in East Zeeuws-Vlaanderen , in the Dutch province of Zeeland . The area is located between Hengstdijk and Lamswaarde. The creek is mainly known as a fishing area and along the banks you will find many fishing piers. In 1971 a recreation area called "De Vogel" was also set up near Hengstdijk, with bungalows and the like.

Domburgsche Golfclub

The Domburgse Golf Club is a Dutch golf club west of Domburg in the province of Zeeland. The course was built in 1914 and is located close to the sea. There are nine holes . Ghent-Terneuzen Canal

Krabbenkreek

The Krabbenkreek is a body of water between the former islands of Tholen and Sint Philipsland in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The area provided drinking water for Middelburg and later Walcheren ; an open water extraction channel was dug for this purpose as part of the employment provision. Although the area no longer serves as a water extraction area, the pumping station of the same name is still being maintained.

Plan Tureluur

The Plan Tureluur is a nature reserve on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It was constructed between 1991-2014 on the south coast of Schouwen-Duiveland. In order to create the nature reserve, agricultural land was returned to nature. The whole covers more than 1000 hectares and is part of the Oosterschelde National Park. The area is located south of the Delingsdijk and lies on both sides of the N59.

Groede Podium is a wooded area located in the Proostpolder at Catsweg 3, north of the village of Groede , which was formerly also known as Het Vlaemsche Duyn . It is located one and a half kilometers south of the seacoast, formed here by the Wielingen.It concerned eleven bunkers , which were grouped as if it were a small village, complete with streets and lawns. The bunkers were camouflaged as houses and were also given matching names such as Villa Saarland and Villa Freundlich.

The Verdronken Zwarte Polder is a nature reserve on the coast of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen located at the mouth of the Western Scheldt near Nieuwvliet . The area is owned and managed by the Zeeuwse Landschap Foundation.
