BillyBird Park Hemelrijk is a large playground and recreational lake , expanded with various amusement park - like attractions . The park is located in Volkel , municipality of Maashorst , North Brabant . The park is built on the north side of a lake which is also called Hemelrijk. The park is built almost entirely around a beach pool. A large part of the attractions and playgrounds can be found outside. A smaller number of attractions can be found inside.

The Bossche Broek is a nature reserve of 202 ha southeast of 's-Hertogenbosch in the valley of the Dommel , in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is characterized by moderately nutrient-rich wet grasslands, partly in use as pasture, partly in hay meadow. In addition, there are many locks and a small wheel.

Cartierheide is a nature reserve that is part of the De Kempen nature reserve and which is located in the Dutch municipality of Bladel . The area is 172 hectares and is located 3 km from the Belgian border, sandwiched between the road from Eersel to Postel and the A67 / E34 highway near Hapert. De Kampina is a nature reserve with forest, heath and stream valleys in the province of North Brabant , located between Boxtel and Oisterwijk . Since 1929 , the area has been largely owned by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten and is more than 1200 hectares in size.

Landgoed De Utrecht is an approximately 2500 hectare estate in the North Brabant part of the Kempen , south of the village Esbeek in the municipalities of Hilvarenbeek and Reusel-De Mierden . In addition to extensive production forests and agricultural land , it contains a lot of nature, a geological monument , a river and fens . The estate has more than 130 species of breeding birds . The De Bockenreyder inn is located on the estate.

Leenderheide is a nature reserve of 333 hectares, located on the territory of the Dutch municipalities of Heeze-Leende and Geldrop-Mierlo . It is owned by Het Brabants Landschap. It consists of a vast, dry heathland in the axil of the A2 and A67 motorways . There is also a high - voltage power line in the vicinity . The heath is interspersed here and there with small-scale pine plantations and some fly pine forest.

The Maasheggen are a landscape and a chain of nature reserves on the Meuse between the Noord-Brabant town of Vierlingsbeek and Batenburg in Gelderland. There is no area in Europe where nature, landscape, economy and culture are so visibly intertwined with such an impressive history. As a result, the Maasheggen has been granted the status of UNESCO Man & Biosphere. The only one in the Netherlands with this unique title.

The Malpie is a nature reserve in the municipality of Valkenswaard .It is best known for its extensive heathland with many large and small fens. There is a walking and cycling area. A cycle path runs from the Venbergse Watermolen to Borkel en Schaft . From this path you have a view of the varied landscape with the fens and the black-headed gull colony. There are also marked hiking trails through the area.

De Moerputten is a nature reserve in the Dutch province of North Brabant , located near 's-Hertogenbosch . The 118 hectare site belongs to the Natura 2000 areas and is managed by Staatsbosbeheer . It is one of the few remaining peat bogs south of the major rivers. The nature reserve is enclosed by the polders Gement , Honderd Morgen and Rijskampen, the Bossche districts of Kruiskamp and Deuteren , and Vlijmen .

This estate, which also includes the Loonsche Heide and De Mast forest area, borders Tilburg to the northwest and is named after a country house dating from 1864 on the road from De Moer to Loon op Zand. The area is approximately 650 hectares and is owned by Natuurmonumenten. This organization is working on the restoration of nature here, such as the realization of a wet heath, which characterized the area until 1940. It is a good trekking area.

More than 400 ha of this is owned by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten. The area was once a vast heathland with many fens, but from 1801 the area was forested. Younger plantings date from about 1840 .

The Plateaux-Hageven forms an international nature reserve of the Dutch Association of Nature Monuments and the Flemish Nature Point . More than 350 ha of this area is located in the Dutch municipalities of Bergeijk and Valkenswaard and more than 150 ha in the Belgian municipalities of Neerpelt and Lommel .

The Fairytale Forest is a 15-acre wooded section of the amusement park Efteling in the Netherlands, where a number of well-known fairy tales and fairy tale figures are depicted by animated statues and buildings.The first ten fairy tales were: the Chinese Nightingale, Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Gnome Village, The Six Servants, the Naughty Princess, Kleine Message, the Frog Prince, the Magic Clock, Lady Hollow's Well and Snow White.

The Strabrechtse Heide is a nature reserve of approximately 1500 ha in the Dutch municipalities of Heeze-Leende , Someren and Geldrop-Mierlo, largely managed by Staatsbosbeheer . The heath takes its name from the hamlet of Strabrecht near Heeze. In July 2010, around 200 hectares of the area were damaged or destroyed in a wildfire that took over a week to put out.
