Burgh-Haamstede

Burgh-Haamstede is a place at the Kop van Schouwen on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland , in the Dutch province of Zeeland . It consists of two villages, Burgh and Haamstede . Both are still clearly recognizable, Haamstede north and Burgh south. With 4,310 inhabitants (1 January 2021), it is the second largest residential area on the island after Zierikzee.

Buurserzand

The Buurserzand is a nature reserve near Haaksbergen in Overijssel. The largest part of the Buurserzand consists of dry heathland on old drifting sand with scrub heather and gorse. It is managed by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten and consists largely of forest and heath. There are a few orchid meadows on wet grasslands with, among other things, spotted orchid and bell gentian.

Cartierheide

Cartierheide is a nature reserve that is part of the De Kempen nature reserve and which is located in the Dutch municipality of Bladel . The area is 172 hectares and is located 3 km from the Belgian border, sandwiched between the road from Eersel to Postel and the A67 / E34 highway near Hapert. There are several touristic sight seeing and walking routes from surrounding villages like Bergeijk, VVV Eersel and protected and maintained by AVN Kempenland.

Castle Strijthagen ArtLand

A majestic and beautiful estate on the territory of the Dutch Limburg municipality of Landgraaf, located in the Strijthagerbeek valley, at the heart of Schaesberg. It was built in the 18th century on the site of an older castle. The walls of the main building consist of so-called bacon layers. The castle complex also consists of the classicist steward's house, the 17th-century white-plastered outer bailey, the watermill called Strijthagermolen, and the coach house.

The Cauberg is a slope in Valkeberg in Dutch Limburg . The Cauberg is known for its cycling race ; the slope is incorporated into the course of väöl wedsjtrieje. The finish of the Amstel Gold Race 2003 lies at the top of the Cauberg; the riders need to climb the Cauberg a few gaps in this race. In 1938 , 1948 , 1979 and 1998 the Cauberg was part of the route of ' t Waereld Kampioensjap bicycle race.

De Biesbosch National Park

De Biesbosch National Park is one of the largest national parks of the Netherlands[2] and one of the last extensive areas of freshwater tidal wetlands in Northwestern Europe. The Biesbosch consists of a large network of rivers and smaller and larger creeks with islands. The vegetation is mostly willow forests, although wet grasslands and fields of reed are common as well. The Biesbosch is an important wetland area for waterfowl and has a rich flora and fauna.

De Deelen

De Deelen is a vast complex of peat bogs in the lower middle of the Dutch province of Friesland , in the municipalities of Heerenveen and De Friese Meren. The Deelen consists of reed beds , draft holes with a relatively large amount of open water, thickets and grasslands. The lower middle of Friesland largely consisted of low peat swamps, which stretched south to the swamps of Northwest Overijssel.

De Goese Golf

De Goese Golf is a Dutch golf course in Goes , in the province of Zeeland. The golf course in Goes is a polder course, on 12 of the 18 holes the player has to deal with water hazards. There is also a 9-hole par 3 course. De Goese Golf has a high clubhouse, which is located on an island in the Goese Meer. The terrace offers a wide view over the golf course and the adjacent protected nature reserve 'de Oosterschelde'.

De Hamert

De Hamert is an estate and nature reserve in the municipality of Bergen in the Dutch province of Limburg. The more than 1000 ha estate with forest, heath and water is owned by the foundation Het Limburgs Landschap. De Hamert is part of De Maasduinen National Park. The area is crisscrossed with walking routes and popular with bird watchers.

The Oranjezon dune area is also an integral part of the Natura 2000 area.

The Millinger tea garden is a Moorish style tea garden in the Dutch municipality of Berg en Dal. The garden is located in the middle of the 'De Millingerwaard ' nature reserve, which is managed by the World Wildlife Fund and Staatsbosbeheer. In the garden there is a Moorish tea house with veranda, a Moroccan tea house and a Moroccan square with water feature. There are several water basins. Banana plants , palms , figs and other Mediterranean plants are in pots in the garden.

De Onlanden, Madijk, Eelderwolde

The De Onlanden area is located in the north of Drenthe and is approximately 2500 ha. It is the result of a redevelopment project near Peize, which covers 6000 hectares. The aim of this project is to improve the agricultural structure, but at the same time to accelerate the construction of nature reserves and to realize a large water storage area.

De Strubben-Kniphorstbosch

The Strubben-Kniphorstbosch is a nature reserve between Anloo and Schipborg. The 377 hectare area owes its name to the 'stubby' oaks and to Gerrit Kniphorst, who was the owner in the 19th century. You will find various traces of prehistoric times here, including two dolmens and no fewer than 60 burial mounds.

De Vogel is a creek and nature reserve in East Zeeuws-Vlaanderen , in the Dutch province of Zeeland . The area is located between Hengstdijk and Lamswaarde. The creek is mainly known as a fishing area and along the banks you will find many fishing piers. In 1971 a recreation area called "De Vogel" was also set up near Hengstdijk, with bungalows and the like.
