The Große Pyhrgas is a mountain in the Ennstal Alps on the border between Upper Austria and Styria. At a height of 2,244 m above sea level. it is the highest summit and western buttress of the Haller Mauern range. The Linzer Grottenbahn is a touristic fairytale world on the Pöstlingberg in one of the fortification towers of the Maximilian fortification ring of the city. The Hengstpass is a mountain pass in the Upper Austrian municipality of Rosenau am Hengstpass on the border with Styria . It separates the Reichraminger Hintergebirge from the Haller Mauern. The pass crossing is developed as a state road L 550 and connects the towns of Windischgarsten and Rosenau on the Hengstpass with the towns of Oberlaussa and Unterlaussa , some in Styria, some in Upper Austria, and the Styrian market town of Altenmarkt .

It is best to walk along the left side of the Vorderen Gosau lake, here you have the Dachstein with its glacier in view. Past the Gosaulacke there are a few steep passages towards the goal. Again and again you have great views of King Dachstein.

The Hochficht is a mountain in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria with a height of 1,338 m above sea level. Its summit marks the border between Austria and the Czech Republic. At the top is a rock outcrop with a summit cross, a ski lift station and a weather station. The Czech side of the mountain is in the core zone of the Bohemian Forest National Park. The Hochficht in the cross-border Bohemian Forest is part of the municipality of Klaffer.

Hochleckenkogel is a high mountain in the western Höllengebirge . Its summit, overgrown with mountain pines , drops with a steep NE flank into the rear Aurachkar. The entrance to the Hochlecken cave is on this side . At the summit there is an old surveying stone with the inscription: Operatio Astronom. Trigon. 1811 on one side and on the other KV Regnante Imperator Francisco Prim.

Hoher Dachstein is the main peak of the Dachstein massif, which contains several 100 limestone peaks and marks the border between the Austrian provinces Styria, Salzburg and Upper Austria. A beautiful summer residence of the imperial family located in Bad Ischl. It became known in the nineteenth century as the favorite residence of Francis Joseph of Austria and his wife Sissi. The villa is surrounded by a large park in the "English Style". The architectural ensemble in its contemporary form was completed in 1860. Construction was significantly slowed by the fact that it could not proceed during the summer months due to the presence of the royal family.
