Gandhi Sagar Dam

The Gandhi Sagar Dam is a multipurpose dam located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It was constructed between 1955 and 1960, with the main purpose of providing irrigation to the nearby districts. The dam is built on the Chambal River, and its reservoir has a capacity of 7.3 billion cubic meters. In addition to irrigation, the Gandhi Sagar Dam also provides drinking water to approximately 1 million people and generates hydroelectric power.

Ghughua Fossil Park

Ghughua Fossil Park is a National Park, located in Dindori. Here fossils of trees of six and a half million years are preserved as an invaluable heritage. It was discovered here in 1970. It has been preserved in glass showcases. These fossils are very precious and give a lot of information about the history of Earth.

Govindgarh Palace

Govindgarh Palace was a summer retreat to the King of Rewa as it is surrounded by some enchanting waterfalls. The construction dates back to the year 1882 AD, and this palace is a work of the Baghela Dynasty. Gurudwara Shri Data Bandi Chhor Shahib

Gurudwara Data Bandi Chhod is a memorial constructed in the memory of Guru Hargobind Sahib. Built inside the Gwalior Fort, the Gurudwara was constructed in 1970. Made up of marble and colourful stained glass exteriors, the Gurudwara is one of the significant Sikh pilgrimage sites and is visited by many tourists each year.

Halali Dam

Harsiddhi Mata Mandir

It is one of the 51 major Shaktipeeths of India. Legend has it that Goddess Parvati took the form of Harsiddhi to kill two demons at the behest of Lord Shiva. The temple was built during the Maratha Period and has two towering deep stambhs that are lit up on the eve of every festival. The temple also offers accommodation.

Hoshang Shah’s Tomb

Hoshang Shah's Tomb is regarded as India's first marble tomb in honor of Hoshang Shah who holds a significant position in the history of India. It is noted that the tomb was constructed in the 15th century. The tomb was so beautiful that it impressed Shah Jehan and so he sent four of his architects before construction of the Taj Mahal.

Indira SagarDam (Punasa Dam)

This is Asia's prestigious hydropower project built over the river Narmada. The construction of the main dam started in 1992. The site features a concrete gravity dam which is 92 metre tall and 653 metre long. it withholds the largest reservoir in India, with a capacity of 12.22 billion cu m . The dam was built as a joint venture between Madhya Pradesh irrigation and National Hydroelectric Power Corporation. It was commissioned on May 2005.

Jai vilas mahal

Jai Vilas Palace, is a nineteenth-century palace in Gwalior, India. It was established in 1874 by Maharajadhiraj Shrimant Jayajirao Scindia Alijah Bahadur, the Maharaja of Gwalior. While the major part of the palace is now the "Jiwajirao Scindia Museum" opened to the public in 1964, a part of it is still the residence of his descendants the former royal Maratha Scindia dynasty.

Jantar Mantar, Ujjain

The Jantar Mantar is an equinoctial sundial, consisting of a gigantic triangular gnomon with the hypotenuse parallel to the Earth's axis. Maharaja Jai Singh 2 has built this in the 18th century. Now it was a famous monument in Ujjain.

Karn Mahal

The Karan Mahal is another significant monument at Gwalior Fort. The Karn mahal was built by the second king of the Tomar dynasty, Kirti Singh. He was also known as Karn Singh, hence the name of the palace.

Kati Ghati is located in the ancient town of Chanderi, in the district of Ashoknagar. this particular impressive large gate has been in a successful manner cut out of the live standing huge rock of the hill range which is nearly 85 feet wide and 30 feet high and which encloses this small town.

Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga

Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the twelve Jyotirlingams, located in the ancient city of Ujjain on the side of the holy river Shipra. Maharshi Sandipani Ashram

According to Puranic traditions, Lord Krishna, Lord Balram and Krishna's friend Sudama were taught by Kalaguru Sandipani at the ashram here. The temple here is the only temple in India to have a standing statue of Nandi - the sacred bull. A holy pond known as Gomti Kund exists nearby. Krishna is believed to have bought Gomti River here so that his guru did not have to go to Dwarika every day to take a holy dip in the Gomti river.

Mandu

Mandu (City of Joy) is a small city in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India, now best known for a fort built by Baaz Bahadur in the memory of his queen Rani Roopmati. Between 1401 and 1561 it was the capital of a Muslim state in the north of India. The capital was abandoned more than 400 years ago, and it's now a small city but also home to a large ruins site more than 10 km long and 15 km wide. The temple dedicated to Shiva also attracts many pilgrims.
