The Moron is a 1337 m above sea level. M. high mountain ridge with an observation tower in the Swiss Jura. The summit lies on the floor of the Bernese municipality of Malleray, around 7 km west-southwest of Moutier. The name originally goes back to the Latin name mons rotundus. The view from the top extends far across the first Jura chain up to the Alpine arc, from the Säntis to the Montblanc. In the north, the Vosges and the Black Forest come into view.

The project was launched to promote the masonry profession and to introduce apprentices to masonry. The tower, built-in 2004 from limestone, concrete, and steel, is 30.80 meters high. 209 steps lead to the viewing platform at a height of 26 meters. The platform offers a view over the Jura to the Bernese Alps.

The Montoz is a mountain range located in the Bernese Jura , Switzerland . It rises from the Pierre Pertuis pass to the Weissenstein . It is a long chain formed by a bumpy and irregular plateau, the width of which sometimes reaches a kilometer . A wide belt of forests surrounds the entire mountain , the northern slope of which drops towards the Birse and part of the southern slope towards the Suze .
