About Nidlenloch

The Nidlenloch is a "cave hanging in the air"! After the formation of the cave, the Rhone glacier rolled through the central plateau and moved the Nidlenloch to another area, ie it no longer has any connection to the karst water. The cave is laid out in the layers of the Sequan limestone sloping to the north, and the corridors drop to the north according to the course of the layers. In the middle part of the cave, there is a partly labyrinthine horizontal system. There are small rivulets locally
