Located on the slopes of the Acropolis, this museum holds the artifacts excavated from the Acropolis. The museum was built to house all the artifacts from the rock and its slopes. The museum lies on top of ruins of part of Roman and early Byzantine Athens. Visitors can walk around it and the glass flooring of the museum gives a top down view of these ruins. The museum is pretty packed as it gives a close look into the historical artifacts of Acropolis.
