[1] It is located in the Duivenvoorde corridor under the South Holland town of Voorschoten . The construction of the current seventeenth-century country estate was completed in 1631. Today the castle can be visited as a museum. The monumental walking park can be visited all year round. It is also an official wedding location also.

The Chinese and Japanese porcelain is arranged in a 17th-century fashion in a unique and purpose-built cabinet, with an exuberant fireplace in the style of Daniël Marot .
