De Uithof

Utrecht Science Park is a science park and neighbourhood in Utrecht, Netherlands. It is located to the east of the city. It is the largest campus of Utrecht University. Apart from the faculties of Law, Humanities and University College Utrecht, most of the university buildings are located in Utrecht Science Park. It is also a main location of the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and the University Medical Center Utrecht, and houses the main university library.

Maastunnel

The Maastunnel is the oldest submerged tunnel in the Netherlands. It connects the banks of the Nieuwe Maas in Rotterdam . The tunnel consists of four tubes: two for cars, one for cyclists and one for pedestrians. Construction started in 1937 and was completed in 1942. Every day, more than 75,000 motor vehicles and around 7,000 cyclists and moped riders, as well as 150 pedestrians , use this tunnel. [2] This makes the Maastunnel an important link in the Rotterdam road network.

Market Hall

The Markthal is a residential and office building with a market hall underneath, located in Rotterdam.[8] The building was opened on October 1, 2014, by Queen Máxima of the Netherlands. Besides the large market hall, the complex houses 228 apartments, 4,600 m2 retail space, 1,600 m2 horeca and an underground 4-storey parking garage with a capacity of over 1200 cars.

Molen De Valk

Molen De Valk is a scaffolding mill and museum on the Lammermarkt in the Dutch city of Leiden. The current stone scaffolding mill is the third mill that has stood on this site. In 1611 the post mill "De Valck" was built on the Valkenburger stronghold. Since 2 June 1966, the mill has been in use as a municipal mill museum. De Valk has been milling again since 2000. The Steam Train Katwijk Leiden is a narrow-gauge railway around Lake Valkenburg in Valkenburg , a district of Katwijk in South Holland. The museum is normally open on weekends from Easter weekend to the end of October. On these days, the steam train usually leaves at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Historical locomotives are used with passenger cars or lorries that were built in-house in the 1980s.
