National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen is a nature reserve in the Dutch province of North Brabant . It covers over 3500 hectares and has been a national park since 2002 . On the one hand, the park is largely an alternation of dry sand drifts and coniferous forest , but the extensive stream valley zone of the Zandleij is also part of it. The De Brand near Udenhout nature reserve, in particular, is located here , with its alternation of coppice forests, wet meadows and swamp bushes.

Anton Pieckplein is a square in the Efteling , named after one of the founders of the park: Anton Pieck . It has a nostalgic atmosphere with antique merry -go-rounds and various catering outlets. At the opening it was the first attraction of its kind, since then the type has been widely imitated in other amusement parks. In 1997 Villa Volta won a Thea Award.
