About Leenderheide

Leenderheide is a nature reserve of 333 hectares, located on the territory of the Dutch municipalities of Heeze-Leende and Geldrop-Mierlo . It is owned by Het Brabants Landschap. It consists of a vast, dry heathland in the axil of the A2 and A67 motorways . There is also a high - voltage power line in the vicinity . The heath is interspersed here and there with small-scale pine plantations and some fly pine forest.
