Edelweißspitze

The Edelweißspitze is 2572 m above sea level. A. high summit of the Glockner group , northeast of the Großglockner , in the Hohe Tauern. It forms the highest point of the toll Grossglockner High Alpine Road. A good trekking destination and also there are so many other adventure options too.

Ennstal Alps

The Alps of the Enns valley, are a mountain range of the Northern Limestone Alps System. The most famous scenery in the Ennstal Alps is the Gesäuse, a valley where the Enns river cuts through the limestone. It is one of the iconic attraction in this area and also a nice trekking destination too.

Erlspitze

Erlspitze is a mountain with three major ridges located at the south west corner of the Karwendel. Its pyramid-shaped summit makes it a good observation peak north of the Erl Saddle and the Solsteinhaus mountain hut. Fadensteig is a majestic mountain located in the heart of Austria. It is one of the shortest and most popular routes for experienced mountaineers and sure-footed hikers to climb the Schneeberg, and is therefore almost a normal route. The thread is also very popular with ski tourers in winter, but it can quickly become a deadly trap when it is icy.

Faschina

Faschina - Fontanella is the highest mountain village within the valley, situated on a sun-kissed balcony of the Grosses Walsertal. The small but charming settlement close to the Faschinajoch ridge at 1485 m above sea level, offers superb winter and summer holidays in a family-like atmosphere. The village is particularly well-known for the Faschina ski area, which is part of the Damüls ski area.

Festungsberg

The Festungsberg is the hill on which the Festung Hohensalzburg rests. It is considered to be one of the "Stadtberge" and geologically speaking, one of the northern-most outposts of the Alps. Archaeological findings date back to the Celtic La Tène culture. The area was fortified during the days of the Roman above the city of Iuvavum until King Odoacer of Italy commanded to leave the Province of Noricum in 488.

Feuerkogel

The Feuerkogel, the sunniest mountain from upper Austria scores with a fantastic view on the whole Salzkammergut. Comfortable huts and many sports possibilities make your holiday to an unforgetable experience. Frau Hitt

The Gailtal is a valley running from East Tyrol to Carinthia . It starts in Kartitsch and ends in Villach . The Gailtal does not form a hydrogeographical unit: the majority of the valley is drained by the Gail towards the east, where it flows into the Drava at the village of Maria Gail ; the westernmost section of the valley, on the other hand, is drained by the Gailbach towards the west. The Kartitscher saddle is the valley watershed.

Gaisberg

The Gaisberg is a popular local mountain just a few kilometers from Salzburg's Old Town. With an elevation of 1287 m above sea level. It is a beautiful location for recreational sports, hiking and nature. The Gaisberg has been a popular destination for daytrippers from Salzburg already in the 18th century. The Gaisberg road became the venue of a car and motorcycle hillclimb race between 1929 and 1969, which was part of the European Hillclimb Championship.

Gartnerkofel

The Gartnerkofel is one of the three distinctive mountain peaks on the Carinthian Nassfeld and a beautiful mountain tour for the whole family . With the starting point at the top station of the Gartnerkofel chairlift , the Gartnerkofel hike is an easy summit tour. The ascent runs in a pleasant, even incline, partly over the slopes of the ski area. The last stretch to the summit cross requires a bit of stamina and a head for heights. But there are no really exposed spots on the whole way.

Geiereck

Geiereck is a peak in Salzburg and has an elevation of 1,805 metres. Geiereck is situated nearby to Richtfunkanlage, and close to Restaurant Seilbahnstation. In the immediate vicinity to the northeast is the mountain station of the Untersberg cable car and a few meters to the northwest is the Zeppezauerhaus .

Geißhorn

A majestic high mountain in the Allgäu Alps on the German - Austrian border. An iconic location with lots of natural specialities. The summit can be climbed from the east from the Mindelheimer Hütte via the south ridge on the marked path. The saddle under the south ridge can also be reached from the north, from Bödmen through the Gemstelbachtal .

Gemeindealpe

The Gemeindealpe is a 1626 m high mountain in the Lower Austrian Limestone Alps in the municipality of Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. It is also a beautiful skii area. The slopes are exposed to the east. The lower slopes are equipped with artificial snow machines. This guarantees regular skiing from December to March.

Gerlitzen

Gerlitzen is a small and friendly resort for beginners and improving skiers to practise their skills. The resort has excellent beginner areas and wide, safe runs on well-groomed slopes. The lifts from the Kanzelhoehe, from Kloesterle and from Birkenhof come together up on the 1911 m high Gerlitzen Alpe. The entire ski resort lies at your feet from up there and you can ski down in all directions.

Glatthorn

Glatthorn is the highest mountain in the Bregenz Forest Mountains with a height of 2,133 m. It lies west of and above the saddle of Faschinajoch, between Damüls to the north and Fontanella in the Großwalsertal to the south. It is one of the iocnicv attraction in this area and it also offers nice views.

Glocknerhaus Kärnten

The Glocknerhaus is a mountain inn at 2,132 m above sea level and is located on the Großglockner High Alpine Road, a little below the end of the Pasterze, in the municipality of Heiligenblut am Großglockner in Carinthia. The hut can be reached directly by car or bus via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and is the starting point for numerous and sometimes very demanding mountain tours. But bikers, climbers and motorcyclists also appreciate the house as a stop for refreshments.

Glungezer

A majestic mountain in Tyrol perfectly groomed ski slopes, surrounded by the beautiful, untouched nature of the Tux Alps. The Glungezer ski area is twelve kilometers from the provincial capital Innsbruck and can be easily reached by bus or car. 23 kilometers of slopes invite you to enjoy winter sports until spring.
