The Affenberg Landskron is a zoo in Villach and at the same time Austria's largest monkey enclosure with around 160 Japanese macaques . The keeping of animals is semi-free compared to other zoos, which means that the animals live in a fenced, wooded property, which represents a 40,000 m² habitat for the monkeys. The Afritzer See is a lake in Carinthia . It is located in the region of the valley north of Villach in the municipality of Feld am See. The lifts from the Kanzelhoehe, from Kloesterle and from Birkenhof come together up on the 1911 m high Gerlitzen Alpe. The entire ski resort lies at your feet from up there and you can ski down in all directions.

The Glocknerhaus is a mountain inn at 2,132 m above sea level and is located on the Großglockner High Alpine Road, a little below the end of the Pasterze, in the municipality of Heiligenblut am Großglockner in Carinthia. The hut can be reached directly by car or bus via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and is the starting point for numerous and sometimes very demanding mountain tours. But bikers, climbers and motorcyclists also appreciate the house as a stop for refreshments.
