Gerlitzen

Gerlitzen is a small and friendly resort for beginners and improving skiers to practise their skills. The resort has excellent beginner areas and wide, safe runs on well-groomed slopes. The lifts from the Kanzelhoehe, from Kloesterle and from Birkenhof come together up on the 1911 m high Gerlitzen Alpe. The entire ski resort lies at your feet from up there and you can ski down in all directions.

Lavanttal Alps

The Lavanttal Alps are part of the Central Eastern Alps in Austria and Slovenia, between the river Mur in the north and the Drava in the south. It is one of the good trekking destination and also there are so many skiing options too. An iconic attraction for a short picnic and also its natural beauty attracts the visitors.

Mölltaler Gletscher

The Mölltaler Gletscher is Carinthia’s only year-round ski area and counts to the ski resorts with the most secure snow in Austria. 16 slopes in varied difficulties open up a top-class ski area in the middle of the Ski Region Hohe Tauern. There are 53 km of slopes available to skiers. However, this information should be used with caution, as not all of the slopes that are very close to each other are usually groomed.

Nassfeld

A beautiful ski resort in the district Hermagor of the Austrian state of Carinthia. It is located below the Nassfeld Pass. Lake Pressegg is nearby, where it is possible to swim in summer and ice skate in the winter. The area has 30 ski lifts: 5 Gondolas, 4 Six-Seater Chairlifts, 4 four-seater chairlifts and 17 tow lifts. The ski resort has over 220 snow machines for creating artificial snow and 110 km of ski tracks.

Skigebiet Grossglockner Heiligenblut

The ski resort Grossglockner Heiligenblut is located in the Mölltal. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 55 km of slopes and 11.5 km of ski routes available. 12 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,301 and 2,989 m. It offers impressive views and varied slopes for all ability levels with a view of Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner.
