Javari Temple

Javari Temple, Khajuraho is one of the prime Tourist Attractions in Khajuraho. Kakanmath Temple

Kakanmaṭh is a ruined 11th century Shiva temple located at Sihoniya in Madhya Pradesh, India. It was built by the Kachchhapaghata ruler Kirttiraja. Only a part of the original temple complex now survives. Some of the sculptures from the site are now located at Gwalior.

Khajuraho Nandi Temple

The Nandi temple is a Hindu temple in Khajuraho town. It is dedicated to Nandi, the bull which serves as the mount (vāhana) of Shiva, in Hindu mythology. As a common architecture trend, temples of Shiva display stone images of a seated Nandi facing Shiva. Following the trend, this temple is located opposite to the Vishvanatha Temple, which is dedicated to Shiva. This structure is one of the monuments among the Khajuraho Group of Monuments, a World Heritage Site in India.

Lakshmana Temple

The Lakshmana Temple is a 10th-century Hindu temple built by Yashovarman located in Khajuraho dedicated to Vaikuntha Vishnu. The structure consists of all the elements of Hindu temple architecture.

Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga

Maharshi Sandipani Ashram

According to Puranic traditions, Lord Krishna, Lord Balram and Krishna's friend Sudama were taught by Kalaguru Sandipani at the ashram here. The temple here is the only temple in India to have a standing statue of Nandi - the sacred bull. A holy pond known as Gomti Kund exists nearby. Krishna is believed to have bought Gomti River here so that his guru did not have to go to Dwarika every day to take a holy dip in the Gomti river.

Being one of the plainest temples in Khajuraho, the temple does not feature any intricate carvings and patterns on exteriors or interiors of the temple.

Nareshwar Temples

This is a cluster of temples dating to the 8th-9th century AD which were built by the Pratihara dynasty who were at the peak of their glory between the 7th to the 11th centuries. These group of temples was excavated by the Archaeological Survey of India and the process is still continued. There are around 21 temples still standing on three sides of the mountain.

Nava Toran Temple Neemuch

This 11th century temple is located in khor, Neemuch. This temple consists of ten decorative arches arranged in two rows. The temple decorations include leaf-shaped borders, heads of makaras, and garland bearers. It is said that there is a tunnel beneath the temple that goes to the Chittor Fort and that Maharana Pratap often used to go through the tunnel to worship the deity of the temple. It has heavily restored small sanctum. The porch is completely lost and of the sanctum only the plinth has survived.

A historical fort situated in the top a hill buuilt in 1200 AD made of sandstone. it stands as a testimonial to the amazing ancient architecture and quality of the ancient structures. The fort has been known for its Lord Shiva temple and Mahashivaratri celebrations. A working ancient cannon is also placed on the hill which is used during Ramadan for the announcement of sunset.
