Kanthaloor View Point located in Idukki district of Kerala state overlooks a valley below. The viewpoint is located on a large rock where you can sit and enjoy views peacefully, especially during evenings. Watching sunlight pouring through the clouds illuminting the valley in different shades of green is a serene scene to witness here.
A small farm runs right near the viewpoint where you can buy fresh products from the forest- like wild honey, guavas, amla, and lemongrass oil. The farm also has a treehouse where you can spend time looking at the peaceful scenary. There is a small entrance fee of 20 INR to enter the farm.
There is a short hike to reach the viewpoint and it is advised to be here in the evening as there is not much cover from the sunlight if you are heading here midday.

Viewpoint overlooking a valley below. Spent about two hours here just watching the clouds moving, the color changing as sunlight comes and goes, playing some music in the small speaker.
The place also has a tree house and and a small farm selling wild honey, lemon grass oil and amala but you have to pay an entry fee of some 20 INR. Kanthaloor waterfalls can be seen from here at a distance.Comments
