The Technik Museum Speyer is a technology museum in Speyer openend in 1991 as a sister museum of the Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim. The museum has over 2,000 exhibits and an exhibition area of more than 150,000 m² , indoors and outdoors. It pulls more than half a million visitors per year.

In addition, the new extension building constructed in 2018 shows major collection of works by Anselm Kiefer.

Originally the main residence of the Prince-electors of the Electorate of the Palatinate of the House of Wittelsbach. Part of the palace is used by the University of Mannheim. The castle, which features tapestries, furniture, paintings, porcelain and silverware is open to visitors.

Holiday Park is one of Germany's most popular theme parks, and is part park and part woodland. The park offers several amusement rides, as well as roller coasters, water rides, and live shows. The park is well known for its Expedition GeForce roller coaster, which consistently remained in the top ten of the many best roller coaster lists since its opening in 2001.

Opened in 1865, it is one of the oldest zoos in Germany, having about 4.400 animals and 250 species. In 13 November 2010, 26 animals were killed and several animals suffered severe burns due to a fire at the zoo.
