The Roman cathedral was started to be built in 1030 and continuesly grew. It is a barrier place for several emperors such as the Habsburgers, Staufer and Salian. As a world heritage sight it is protected and well kept. The are around the church invits you to a walk through a picturesque old town with a large amount of ice cream parlours.
