To see Taj

Taj definetely owns it's hype. I was sceptical but once there, I was amazed by the beauty and the magnificence of the monument. 

We were one of the first ones to enter the premises, reached at the site around morning 5.30 or so, and had the privilege to see it uncrowded. The sunrise with the Taj in front is a spectacle, with the sun rays reflected by the structure. The garden around it has a lot of birds that constantly make beautiful noice which elevates the experience. I think everyone should visit Taj Mahal once.

There is also a nice viewpoint behind Taj, on the other side of river Yamuna where we went the previous day. It is not as great as entering the Taj compounds but still almost close.

Taj Mahal

Historic city of Mughal empire. There is a collection of monuments here- mosque, courtyards, horse stables, palace etc. You will need at least two to three hours to explore everything. World's largest gate- Buland Darwaza is also located here.

Bare in mind that the place can get super hot in summer time. Make sure to have enough water with you.

Fatehpur Sikri

Huge fort with tall towers and moats. Reach early if you want to avoid the crowd. There is a small mosque, a well, and many other structures within the fort that makes it very attractive to visit.
