This viewpoint shows you the catchment area of Idukki reservoir complex that consists of idIduk, Cheruthoni and Kulamavu dams. The view is very pretty but unfortunately it was a bit hazy while we visited. You can walk around the area here to get different views of the reservoir. There are some small peaks to climb and tea estates lay right near to the area. The access to the spot from the main road is a bit tricky, through unpaved roads. Probably SUV's have a better time going up through it. We we're motorcycling up and it was difficult to reach, but not impossible.
