Alserkal Avenue is full of galleries that sell contemporary art. It used to be more galleries than food but now it might be a 50/50 balance of cafés and galleries. There is also a dance studio and yoga studio in the area as well as the Cinema Akil that screens movies indoors and outdoors. My favourite gallery in the area still is s and has always been the Third Line Gallery.
