Heligoland
Heligoland is a small German archipelago in the North Sea. It's a somewhat popular destination for one-day ship cruises. It is today a peaceful tourist destination and bird observatory, popular with day-trippers because of its sandy beaches and clean air. It is a square kilometer of island bliss between sky and sea.

Herrenchiemsee New Palace
A complex of royal buildings on Herreninsel, the largest island in the Chiemsee lake. The island, formerly the site of an Augustinian monastery, was purchased by King Ludwig II of Bavaria in 1873. The king converted the premises into a residence, known as the Old Palace (Altes Schloss). From 1878 onwards, he had the New Herrenchiemsee Palace (Neues Schloss) erected, based on the model of Palace of Versailles. It was the largest, but also the last of his building projects, and remained incomplete

Pfalzgrafenstein Castle
Pfalzgrafenstein Castle was a toll castle on the Pfalz Island in the River Rhine near Kaub, Germany. It worked in concert with Gutenfels Castle and the fortified town of Kaub on the right side of the river. Due to a dangerous cataract on the river's left, every vessel would have to use the fairway nearer to the right bank, thus floating downstream between the mighty fortress on the vessel's left and the town and castle on its right. Schleimünde
As Schleimünde is today's Pilot Island that the loop of the Baltic Sea separates. Schleimünde is the location of a lighthouse and a small emergency port for pleasure boats. It belongs to the Schleswig-Flensburg district. The peninsula is 112 hectares and barely five meters higher than the water level. The island is sometimes completely submerged during storm surges. A dam leads to the 14.3-meter high lighthouse at the southern end of the island.

Schwerin Castle
A Castle in Schwerin city, the capital of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located on an island in Lake Schwerin, and most parts of the castle was built between 1845 - 1857. For centuries the castle was the home of the dukes and grand dukes of Mecklenburg and later Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Today parts of it serve as the residence of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state parliament, other parts are open for tourists.

Südfall
Südfall is an island in the Wadden Sea on the North Sea coast in the west of Schleswig-Holstein. It has a size of 0.56 km² and administratively belongs to the municipality and district Pellworm. The Hallig is leased out and is inhabited by two people from March to November. One of the beautiful locations in this area which is blessed with natural beauty.

Trischen
Trischen is an uninhabited island in front of the Meldorfer Bay , about 14 kilometers from the Dithmarsch North Sea coast - the distance to Trischendamm is 12 kilometers. The island belongs to the municipality of Friedrichskoog and is only inhabited from March to October by a bird keeper from NABU . Other people are not allowed to visit. Trischen is visited by birds both as a breeding and resting place
