Barkana falls

One of the ten highest waterfalls in India. Formed by River Seetha River, the waterfall offers most amazing views during the rainy season.

Kodachadri Hill

13th highest peak of Karnataka state. Surrounded by dense forests and breathtaking views, it is a major attraction for hikers. At the top of the peak stands a stone-built temple dedicated to Adi Shankara.

Kundadri Hills

A mountain peak crowning dense forests. There is a Jain Temple at the top of the mountain, and two small ponds formed by the rock on one side of this temple provided water to earlier sages.

Mandagadde Bird Sanctuary

One of the 20 important sanctuaries in India. The sanctuary is situated on an island that spans an area of 1.14 acres and it is surrounded by forest and river Tunga. Over 5,000 birds here during the peak season from July to September, boating can be taken for closer viewing of the nesting birds.

Sharavati Valley Wildlife Sanctuary

Spread over an area of 431.23 km2, it has dense evergreen and semi-evergreen forests. The sanctuary is a refuge of the endangered lion-tailed macaque.
