13th highest peak of Karnataka state. Surrounded by dense forests and breathtaking views, it is a major attraction for hikers. At the top of the peak stands a stone-built temple dedicated to Adi Shankara.

Hidlumane Waterfalls

We decided to trek this peak through Nittur-hidlumane falls. On the way , we have crossed several streams of hidlumane falls.
We took around 5.30 hours to complete 10.5 KM trek. We took a break to enjoy the hidlumane falls and we carried our lunch with us.
Guides are available to help you and they charge 500-1000 Rs.
If you are planning to stay there overnight, you can contact the PWD guest house. They provide an overnight stay and food.
