The Birsköpfli is a leisure and bathing area in the Swiss city of Basel and its neighboring municipality Birsfelden. It is located at the confluence of the Birs river with the Rhine river. the Birsköpfli only means the area bounded by the Birs and the Rhine in the borough Breite; other boundaries are the Blackwood Bridge and the main road to Birsfelden. Along the Birs riverbanks there is a park with green meadows and a restaurant, the rest of the area is inhabited by allotments.
The Blenio Valley in northern Ticino extends from the Lukmanier Pass down the valley to Biasca. The Druidenstein is a large erratic block above Morschach in the canton of Schwyz. The stone lies at an altitude of 758 m above sea level. M. northeast above the village on a hilltop of the Grossegg. The Druidenstein is surrounded by other smaller boulders and by the lawn of the Axenstein Golf Club, whose restaurant is barely a hundred meters away from the stone. From the “Schwyzerhaus” bus stop, it can be easily reached in around fifteen minutes via a marked hiking trail.
As Erdmannlistein a group of boulders in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland called. These are erratic granite blocks from the Reuss Glacier . They are located in the area of the municipality of Wohlen just on the border with Bremgarten on a moraine wall of the Wagenrain , between peat moss and the Erdmannlistein train station at an altitude of 457 m above sea level. The geographical centre of Switzerland has the coordinates 46°48′4″N 8°13′36″ECoordinates: 46°48′4″N 8°13′36″E. It is located at Älggi-Alp in the municipality of Sachseln, Obwalden. The point is the centre of mass determined in 1988 by Swisstopo. As the point is difficult to access, a stone was set 500 m further south-east on Älggi Alp.
