One of the b3autiful mountains in this area is blessed with natural beauty and there are so many things to see. It leads over alpine pastures, most notably Musenalp, where cheese is still made. Then it continues through a wild landscape of rock formations and over the ridge to Buochserhorn, a popular scenic mountain.
The Bürgenstock is a mountain in Switzerland located partway along the shore of Lake Lucerne. Bürgenstock is also a resort located at 874 m a.s.l. on the same mountain. The lookout point at the summit of the Bürgenstock, the Hammetschwand, offers an extensive view, for the mountain is almost entirely surrounded by Lake Lucerne.
The Chaiserstuel, also Chäiserstuel, is a mountain in the Uri Alps, the summit of which lies on the border of the cantons of Nidwalden and Uri in central Switzerland. It has a height of 2400 m above sea level. M. and can be climbed from both cantons. One of the beautiful locations in Switzerland and also a picturesque trekking destination too.
The Engelbergertal is a 25 km long valley in central Switzerland . The valley extends over the three Swiss cantons of Obwalden , Nidwalden and Uri and is traversed by the Engelberger Aa . The actual beginning of the valley is at the yoke of the Surenen Pass at 2291 m above sea level. Engelberg, at the top of the valley, is the largest summer and winter sports resort in Central Switzerland.
The Jochstock is a summit of the Urner Alps, located near Engelberg in Central Switzerland. The summit is one of the two tripoints between the cantons of Berne, Nidwalden, and Obwalden. A platter lift runs from the Joch Pass to near the summit of the Jochstock. One of the beautiful trekking destination and also a picturesque spot to spend some leisure time.
The Klimenshorn is a beautiful summit from the Pilatus. The view of Lake Lucerne is beautiful from up here. One of the most visited attractions in this area and It gives a nice view of the area.
The Laucherenstock lies on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Nidwalden, it is located in the Unterwaldner Voralpen . In the south, the Laucherenstock falls into the Horbistal , whose steep rocky step is also known as the "End of the World". The Horbistal flows south into Engelberg . The Rugghubel with the Rugghubelhütte is located southeast of the Laucherenstock .
The Lopper, a mountain in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden, is a southeastern branch of the Pilatus. The Lopper forms a narrow peninsula to the Vierwaldstätter and Alpnachersee. Its ridge reaches a height of 961 m in the Haslihorn. Its flanks are unstable and drop steeply on both sides up to 500 meters to the lakes. It was one of the beautiful destinations in this area and also a good trekking destination too.
The Lutersee is located at 1703 meters above sea level in the Nidwalden community of Wolfenschiessen. The beautiful mountain lake lies above the so-called Rossboden. The Lutersee is located in a depression. Although the lake is located in the canton of Nidwalden, the easiest way to get to it is from the canton of Obwalden - either from Engelberg or from the hamlet of Grafenort.
The Ruchstock is a 2813 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Uri Alps of Switzerland. Although there is a lot of touristic infrastructure and a dense network of hiking paths in the Engelberg area, there is neither on the mountain itself. The Ruckstock is occasionally climbed by experienced hikers and is rated T6 on the hiking scale of the Swiss Alpine Club
Trübsee is an intermediate cable car station by the Titlis Bergbahnen, Trüebsee is an Alpine lake on the Ober Trüebsee Alpine pasture in the upper part of the extensive municipality of Wolfenschiessen in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden. The lake lies at the foot of the Titlis above the village resort of Engelberg. The lake is a hydroelectric reservoir, providing water to the underground power station Trübsee
The Wendenstöcke is a multi-summited mountain of the Uri Alps, overlooking Gadmen in the cannon of Bern. The main summit is named Gross Wendenstock. One of the beautiful picturesque location in this area which is suitable for trekking.
The Widderfeld Stock is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Nidwalden and Obwalden. It is located between the valleys of Melchtal and Engelberg.
