Engelbergertal, 6386 Wolfenschiessen, Switzerland
The Engelbergertal is a 25 km long valley in central Switzerland . The valley extends over the three Swiss cantons of Obwalden , Nidwalden and Uri and is traversed by the Engelberger Aa . The actual beginning of the valley is at the yoke of the Surenen Pass at 2291 m above sea level. Engelberg, at the top of the valley, is the largest summer and winter sports resort in Central Switzerland.

Maria Rickenbach Monastery is a Benedictine monastery of Religious Sisters. It is situated in the village of Niederrickenbach in the municipality of Oberdorf in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden. It is accessible to the public only by cable car from Niederrickenbach Station on the Luzern–Stans–Engelberg railway line, although there is a private road leading up to the village from Dallenwil.
The Widderfeld Stock is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Nidwalden and Obwalden. It is located between the valleys of Melchtal and Engelberg.

A beautiful reservoir located in the heart of Wolfenschiessen in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden. The lake can be reached by a cable car from Oberrickenbach, which in turn is linked by post bus service to Wolfenschiessen station on the Luzern–Stans–Engelberg railway line. It has a surfaceara of 16 acres and is one of the famous tourist spot in this area.
