Amerikaanse Begraafplaats

Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial is a Second World War military war grave cemetery, located in the village of Margraten. More than 8,000 soldiers are buried at this only American cemetery in the Netherlands. The majority were killed during the liberation of the south-east of the Netherlands in WWII and the advance through Germany.


Balagos is a steel roller coaster in the Dutch amusement park Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. The roller coaster was built in 1990 by Vekoma. It is one of the iconic attraction in this area and also a unique ride too.

Baron 1898

Baron 1898 is a steel floorless diving roller coaster in the Dutch amusement park Efteling . The attraction is located in Ruigrijk , between the Flying Dutchman , the Gondoletta and the Piraña.

CM.com Circuit Zandvoort

Circuit Zandvoort, known for sponsorship reasons as CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, and previously known as Circuit Park Zandvoort until 2017, is a 4.259 km motorsport race track located in the dunes north of Zandvoort, Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line. It returned to the Formula One calendar in 2021 as the location of the revived Dutch Grand Prix.


Dolmen D25 is one of the five dolmens located near Bronneger in the Dutch province of Drenthe . The hunebed D25, together with D23 and D24 , forms a somewhat separate and more forested group of dolmens on the Steenakkersweg, a sandy road to Bronneger. The dolmens D22 and D21 are located a little more to the west on the edge of a field. In the vicinity of these dolmens are two burial mounds from the Bronze Age .


Dolmen D27 is located on the northeast side of Borger in the Dutch province of Drenthe . The passage grave is the largest dolmen in the Netherlands. Close to this hunebed is the dolmen center, designed by Aldo van Eyck and completed in 2005. The hunebed D27 contains nine capstones on 26 supporting stones and two keystones and a complete gate with four gate stones and a capstone. Two nearby boulders may have been crown stones.


Dolmen D54 is located outside Havelte on the Havelterberg in the Dutch province of Drenthe . The hunebed is located south of the Hunebedweg, a side road of the Van Helomaweg. It is located on a small sandy plain surrounded by grass. The hunebed has six capstones , four of which rest completely on the supporting stones . The easternmost capstone is missing, as is the keystone below. On the western side are three keystones.

De Bastei

De Bastei is a center for nature and cultural history on the Waalkade in the Dutch city of Nijmegen. The center provides an overview of the connection between the city and the river Waal over the centuries: from the formation of the landscape to the present. Staatsbosbeheer and IVN Rijk van Nijmegen are partners of De Bastei.

De Uithof

Utrecht Science Park is a science park and neighbourhood in Utrecht, Netherlands. It is located to the east of the city. It is the largest campus of Utrecht University. Apart from the faculties of Law, Humanities and University College Utrecht, most of the university buildings are located in Utrecht Science Park. It is also a main location of the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and the University Medical Center Utrecht, and houses the main university library.

Dolmen D18

Dolmen D18 is located in the vicinity of Rolde in the Dutch province of Drenthe.The dolmen is located northeast of Rolde in the vicinity of the cemetery and the Sint-Jacobskerk. In the immediate vicinity is a second dolmen; D17. The dolmen has been 'restored' by Joan Lodewijk Gerhard Gregory and looks 'neater', dolmen D17 is more of a ruin.

The tower stands at the spot where the city of Utrecht originated almost 2,000 years ago. Even if you can’t see it, you are still likely to hear one of its thirteen bells that weigh between 880 and 18,000 pounds.


Donderstenen is a steel roller coaster in the Dutch amusement park Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. Thunderstones is produced by Zierer and uses 1 train with 10 wagons, each of which can accommodate 2 people side by side. The track is themed with 'thunderstones'. Thunderstones opened on April 9, 2005.

Floriade Expo 2022 is a Dutch horticultural exposition to be held in Almere, Netherlands. It will be the 23rd AIPH world horticultural exhibition and the seventh Floriade and will be held from 14 April to 9 October 2022. On 15 November 2017, Floriade Expo 2022 was officially recognized as a horticultural exhibition by the Bureau International des Expositions.


The Fluweelengrot is a system of tunnels in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul . It was created by marl mining. The historic system of corridors is located on Daalhemerweg and is open for guided tours. To the northeast is the castle ruins with the Castle Quarry below, to the Southeast is the Wilhelmina Quarry under the Heunsberg and to the Southwest is the Kerkhofs Quarry. Also south of the Fluweelengrot is the Proeftunnel Daelhemerweg.

Foundation Steam Train Goes-Borsele

The Stoomtrein Goes - Borsele is a heritage railway operating from Goes through Kwadendamme to the village of Hoedekenskerke, in the province of Zeeland, Netherlands.The railway operates a fleet of seventeen locomotives - nine diesel engines, six steam engines, and two relatively unusual 1,500 volt Alstom electric engines. Additionally, three heritage diesel railcars are in service.


Goliath is a steel roller coaster located at Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, Flevoland, Netherlands. was described as "the fastest, highest and longest coaster in the Benelux. It was mainland Europe's second Intamin "Mini Hyper Rollercoaster", so named as the ride is styled on the larger ride, but with a lower maximum height of 47 metres. The train travels at speeds of up to 107 kilometres per hour along 1,214 metres of track.
