Burgruine Landsee

Burgruine Landsee is a castle ruin in the Austrian state of Burgenland. Burgruine Landsee is 537 metres above sea level. The castle was used as a location for Disney's The Three Musketeers starring Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, Chris O'Donnell, and Oliver Platt. Today, families access the Castle’s keep called “Don Jon” via the large, preserved entrance gate, bridges and arcades. Its viewing platform offers children and their parents amazing 360-degree views of Central Burgenland.

Burgruine Rauhenstein

The Rauhenstein castle ruins are the ruins of a hilltop castle in the Helenental north-east of the Schwechat , in the local area of Baden near Vienna . Like the neighboring Rauheneck castle ruins , it was probably built in the 12th century by the Tursen knights. It was repeatedly inhabited by robber barons and often destroyed and rebuilt.

Gasometers of Vienna

The Vienna gasometers were built between 1896 and 1899 at a time when societies were reluctant to exhibit freely their industrial infrastructures.They were used from 1899 to 1984 to house gas holders, also known as gasometers, each of 90,000 m³ storage capacity. After the changeover from town gas to natural gas between 1969 and 1978, they were no longer used and were shut down. The structures have found new residential and commercial use in modern times.

Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport is a unique building which houses the historical Flying Bulls aircraft fleet and a collection of Formula 1 race cars. It houses the Michelin-starred restaurant Ikarus, two bars and a lounge. The building is airfoil shaped, constructed of 1,200 tons of steel and 75,000 sqft of glass surface. "Hangar 8" is the name of the maintenance facility.

Helbling House is a building located in the Old Town section of Innsbruck, Austria, across from the Golden Roof at Herzog-Friedrich-Strasse 10. It is the only elaborate Baroque style building and surrounded by medieval neighbours. The building was named after Sebastian Helbling, who owned the building from 1800 to 1827.

The historic center of Vienna is one of two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Austrian capital , Vienna , along with the Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens . The area, consisting of a core and an outer zone, covers 8.33 km². The designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site took place in 2001. A part of the historical center of Vienna, essentially the 1st district of the inner city and the adjacent ring road, is also registered as a cultural property protected under the Hague Convention.

Hochosterwitz Castle

Hochosterwitz is an outstanding example of a medieval fortress and stronghold. It is on a 172-metre high dolomite rock near Sankt Georgen am Längsee, east of the town of Sankt Veit an der Glan in Carinthia. A specific feature is the access way to the castle passing through a total of 14 gates, which are particularly prominent owing to the castle's situation in the landscape. The castle mountain has been lived on since the Bronze Age.
