Islands to Explore in Malaysia

Tengah Island

Lang Tengah Island is an island in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia. It is connected to the mainland by ferries to Merang. The island appeals more to holiday goers who are looking for a quiet tropical island getaway. This is much quieter with less development than nearby.

Tikus Island

Tikus Island is an islet off the northern coast of Penang Island in the State of Penang, Malaysia. Located nearly 770 m off Tanjung Bungah, a suburb of the city of George Town, this uninhabited outcrop is now home to a solar-powered lighthouse. This active lighthouse marks the northern entrance to the Penang Strait and hence, the Port of Penang.

Tun Sakaran Marine Park

An archipelago with a unique blend of nature and marine biodiversity. Home to the nomadic Bajau Laut (Sea Gypsies) people, who live in stilt houses and houseboats in and around the marine park.
