A beautiful artificial lake in Hinterstoder, Upper Austria, created by impounding the river Krumme Steyr. The pond resides at the altitude of 612 m above sea level at the foot of the Großer Priel in the Totes Gebirge mountain range. Calcium-rich marl covers the lake bottom where stoneworts and common water-crowfoots grow. The southern bank displays a strip of phragmites, other shores only show sparse patches of common reed and a wet meadow borders in the west.

The Schlögener Schlinge is a river loop in the upper Danube valley in Upper Austria. The southern shore is located in the municipality of Haibach ob der Donau and its district Schlögen, which gives the loop the name. The approximately 800 meter high east wall made of banked Dachstein limestone gives the mountain from this side a shapely summit structure that dominates the Stodertal. Some classic tours of the Dead Mountains lead through the east face of the Spitzmauer.

The Sternstein Mountain is situated in the north of Upper Austria, Austria in the districts of Bad Leonfelden and Vorderweißenbach. On its north flank it also reaches into the Czech Republic. As measured by the height above sea level of its summit it is 1125 meters high. There are four kilometers of slopes on the east flank of the mountain and the Sternstein GmbH operates a combined funicular and chair lift with a capacity of 2850 persons/hour to get to the top of the mountain.

A majestic augustinian monastery in the town of Sankt Florian, Austria. Founded in the early ninth century, and later refounded by Augustinians in the eleventh century, St. Florian is the largest monastery in Upper Austria, and rivals Melk Abbey and Klosterneuburg Monastery as among the most impressive examples of Baroque architecture in Austria. The monastery is dedicated to Saint Florian, whose fourth century grave lies beneath the monastery.

The "stairway to nowhere" was completed in July 2013 and is now directly connected to the suspension bridge. The total weight of the stairs is 5 tons .
