Chaurasi Gumbad

Chaurasi Gumbad (84 domes) is a square nine domed structure in a walled courtyard with two graves under central dome. The probable date assigned to this gumbad late 15th or early 16th century. This Islamic architecture is believed to be a tomb of one of the Lodi Sultan. It has 84 door arches. Chota Imambara

Chota Imambara, also known as Imambara Hussainabad Mubarak is an imposing monument located in the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dandi Beach

Dantapuram prehistoric rock shelters

Ancient Buddha stupa are present in this place. It is believed to be a place of Buddha religion and a shiddhardas living place. It is an important archeological place, called Boudha Gynana dantha puri, where the archeological department found some bricks, pots, nabed wear, terracotta articles, bangles, beads, stone and iron articles. It is elevated in the BC 261 after Kalinga battle by Ashoka Chakravarthi.

Dargah Imam Nasir

This is an 800 years old masjid. This mosque is flourished with Mugal style architecture and the mural designs and so many other drawings are labeled in the walls. The four minars and the white color of the masjid increases the beauty once more.

Descent of the Ganges

Descent of the Ganges is a huge rock monument located on West Raja Street in Mahabalipuram. Carved in the 7th century during the Pallava reign on the face of an enormous boulder, this along with the adjacent carving, Arjuna's Penance, is one of the largest open-air rock sculptures in the world.

Dhauli

Dhauli Giri is the site, on whose plains Kalinga War was fought. Adorned with a rock edict erected by the great emperor Ashoka of Maurya Dynasty, the hills are located on the banks of the Daya River. Seeing the Daya River that had turned to red by the Kalingan martyrs, Ashoka renounced war and embraced Buddhism. The bloodshed led Ashoka to change his mind, after which he laid down the weapons of violence and accepted a life of Ahimsa in the form of Buddhism.

Digboi War Cemetery

Located very close to the border of the country Burma, Digboi served as an army camp for the Burmese campaign during the Second World War. The town was made the communications line centre and a hospital was established to treat the injured and casualties during the War. The Digboi war Cemetery started out as a burial ground for the dead bodies which came from the hospital. There were 70 recorded graves on the grounds of the original cemetery.

Diu Museum

A famous tourist spot of the town, the Diu Museum has been set up in the St. Thomas Church. The church had been built in 1598 but was later converted into a museum. The building still bears the worn out and faded portraits and paintings left behind by the Portuguese. A beautiful garden path leads up to Diu Museum, with lovely fountains by its side. The evenings transform the place into a delightful sight with multicolored lights attractively brightening up the edifice.

Eklakhi Mausoleum

Fateh Burj, Chappar Chiri
