This is a very old library with collections of books that are multiple centuries old. It is one of the four National Depository libraries which receives a copy of all books, newspapers and periodicals published in India.
The architecture of the library itself is pretty amazing. British era building with huge halls and arches. While we were there, it was undergoing a renovation and all the books were scattered around like in a movie. It was an unique experience and also very impressed with the collection. Can't help but wonder when you see a book that is older than my great grandpa.
