This is a dam on the Mutha river. The dam created a reservoir named as Khadkakvasla lake which is the main source of water for Pune and its suburbs.

Khandoli dam is a dam located 10 km North-East of Giridih town towards Bengabad in Jharkhand, India. Khandoli is also a village at the foot of the Khandoli hill. The reservoir of the Khandoli dam provides water supply to more than one lakh residents of the Giridih town.[2][3] It is an important tourist spot in the state of Jharkhand.

This is a beautiful 1128 meter long dam situated in the Kharkhara river of Balod district. This area is now one of the popular tourist destinations in Chhattisgarh state.

The Kinnerasani Dam was constructed in 1966 on the Kinnerasani River, one of the important tributaries of Godavari River. The Koilsagar Dam is a medium sized irrigation project which was constructed at a cost of Rs 80 crores during the glorious period of the Nizams during 1945-48. The British rulers had proposed the idea of constructing a dam to collect and store the excess water in region at the catchment area of the River Krishna for irrigation purposes.

This is agravity dam situated near Jaypore town in Koraput district. The dam impounds Kolab river which is a tributary of Godavari river. The majestic Kolab Reservoir generating Hydro Electric Power is situated here. There is also a beautiful garden and a small park surrounds the dam.

Kota barrage is the fourth in the series of Chambal valley projects. It was built to store the waters stored by the three previous dams of the project Gandhi Sagar Dam, Jawahar Sagar Dam and Rana Pratap Sagar Dam, and then channelize it to the dry areas of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh for irrigation purposes via canals. At present, it helps in agriculture in around 20,000 acres of land.

This is a good picnic spot in this area with its picturesque location and the serene surroundings. This is not only a power project but also a water source for those local areas.

Maithon Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Barakar River in Jharkhand, India. The dam forms the Maithon Reservoir, which covers an area of 65 square kilometers. The dam is used for power generation and irrigation. As of 2016, the dam has a capacity of 60 MW. It is 4,789 meters long and 50 meters high. The dam has been credited with reducing flooding in the region.

Malampuzha Dam, set overlooking the scenic hills of Western Ghats is the largest reservoir in Kerala, located near Palakkad in Kerala state in Southern India. The dam is a straight gravity type, with a combination of a masonry dam of 1,849 meters in length and an earthen dam of 220 meters length.

Mandira Dam is located near Kansbahal in Sundergarh district. Construction of the dam began after 1957. The dam displaced 2400 families and only 843 were resettled. The reservoir offers boating facilities for tourists and the nearest railway station is located in Kansbahal on the Howrah-Mumbai main line of South Eastern Railway. Rourkela is the closest junction station.

Massanjore Dam is a hydropower generating dam over the Mayurakshi River located at Massanjore near Dumka in the state of Jharkhand, India. The Massanjore dam (also called Canada Dam), across the Mayurakshi, was commissioned in 1955. It was formally inaugurated by Lester B. Pearson, Foreign Minister of Canada. The Mayyrakshi River at the dam site has a catchment area of 1869 sq.km.
