About Les Saisies

Les Saisies is a ski resort located in the Savoie départment of France. It is 30 km from Albertville, host of the 1992 Winter Olympics. For those games, the resort hosted the biathlon and cross-country skiing events. The resort also has alpine skiing trails for use and forms part of the Espace Diamant skiing region. Les Saisies organized the 2014 European Company Sports Games.

Cormet de Roselend is a high mountain pass in the Alps in the department of Savoie in France. It connects Beaufort in the Beaufortain valley and Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the Tarentaise Valley. On the west side of the pass lies the Lac de Roselend, a reservoir that can be reached by the Col de Méraillet or the Col du Pré. It is the stopping point of the Alta via Della Valle d'Aosta n. 2, trail hiking in the Valle d'Aosta.
