The Lake Miage is a small pool of water that is located in Valle d'Aosta at 2020 m above sea level at the foot of the massif of Mont Blanc, in Val Veny. Its waters are fed by the homonymous glacier. Characteristic of the lake is the interesting and spectacular phenomenon that has occurred for over two centuries: the detachment of icebergs from the ice cliff in contact with the lake.

The Dômes de Miage is a mountain of the Mont Blanc Alps in the Graian Alps. It is located along the borderline between Italy and France. The mountain is made up of five peaks that unfold on a ridge about three kilometers long.
