The cathedral is about 45 minutes by bike from Tam Coc. Most of the ride is scenic and it is definitely a great tour to take by yourself. The cathedral is well maintained and built by a Vietnamese deacon. If you like to see the church from the inside you can ask one of the nones in the convent if she has time to let you in. The Cathedral of Our Lady Queen of the Rosary Phat Diem is the largest architectural Catholic entire Vietnam. It was built by Father Six at the end of the xix th century and is located in the district of Kim Son, 30 kilometers from Ninh Binh. It depends on the diocese of Phát Diêm.
