The cathedral is about 45 minutes by bike from Tam Coc. Most of the ride is scenic and it is definitely a great tour to take by yourself. The cathedral is well maintained and built by a Vietnamese deacon. If you like to see the church from the inside you can ask one of the nones in the convent if she has time to let you in. The none who made time for me new a lot about the history of the church and its construction.
