I visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park because I wanted to see the Sky Space on my way to Leeds. The park is not near anywhere but you can get there by bus from different train stations. The bus goes every 20 minutes. The park itself is huge and exhibits sculptures by all great names in contemporary art. You can spend more than four hours here without getting bored. There are also different places where you can get food and the car park is huge if you come with your own car.
This is a wonderful place to come to with your kids. Between the sculptures, heards of sheep are running around which makes for a fascinating soundscape.
