About Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve
The Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve is a non-use conservation area and biosphere reserve in the Satpura Range of Madhya Pradesh. The conservation area was created in 1999 by the Indian government. It also contains animals from the Himalayan peaks and from the lower western ghats. UNESCO designated it as a biosphere reserve in 2009.

This is a landmark in the district of Hoshangabad. It was worked by the British in 1892. It was assembled over 150 years prior in the 19th century and the veneer of the building may look somewhat weather-beaten yet the internal parts are as stylishly stable as they may have been many years back.
