Home for a collection of sculptures, Byzantine art, coins and medals. It houses one of the largest coin collections in the world, range spanning from 7th century BC to the present day.
The museum is very large just like the other museums in the Museum Island of Berlin but the amount of people visiting was comparable less. The museum can be of extremely interest to Christians as the majority of collection here comes from that religion.
