The Sardar Sarovar Dam is a gravity dam on the Narmada river near Navagam, Gujarat in India. One of the 30 dams planned on river Narmada, Sardar Sarovar Dam is the largest structure to be built. It is one of the largest dams in the world. It is a part of the Narmada Valley Project.
The statue of unity is a colossal statue of the Indian statesman and Independence activist Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Who was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India. The project was first announced in 2010 and the construction of the statue started in October 2013 by Larsen & Toubro, who received the contract for ₹ 500 crores from Center Government. It was designed by Indian sculptor Ram V. Sutar and was inaugurated in 31st october 2018.

It encompasses mixed dry deciduous forest, riverine forest, few pockets of moist teak forest, agricultural fields and two water reservoirs. This was established in the year of 1982. IT is home for a verietys of flora and fauna.
