Most of the items in the collection are reconstructions based on old drawings and patents, in addition to some original pieces. The museum was founded by the designer duo Marc De Jonghe and Ann Geerinck.

Belfort van Sluis

The belfry of Sluis is a town hall whose construction may have started in 1386 . It is the only belfry located within the borders of present-day Netherlands, next to the Wijnhuistoren in Zutphen.
