About Park Transwijk

Park Transwijk is a city park in the Dutch city of Utrecht. The park was laid out between 1956 and 1964, at the same time as the southwestern districts of Transwijk and Kanaleneiland were built . A sleek design was used in the furnishing. In 2001 the park was redesigned. The park includes a petting zoo . Furthermore, the park is used for events such as the Liberation Festival.

The blades are another 9 meters above that. The sawmill originally dates from 1739. From the original mill, only the sawmill remained since 1911. The mill was rebuilt between 1996 and 1998.
