Boswachterij Staphorst of Staatsbosbeheer is a 940 hectare forest and nature reserve in the eastern part of the municipality of Staphorst in the province of Overijssel . It is located in an otherwise agricultural environment. The forestry is crossed by dirt roads and several motorways. "Peperbus" is actually the nickname of the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwetoren, which the tower owes to its shape, which resembles a pepperbus . With its height of 75 meters, the striking tower can be seen from afar. The Peperbus can be climbed up to the first entrance, which is located at a height of 51 meters.
