The bridge is located where the Van Ketwich Verschuurlaan changes into the Laan Corpus den Hoorn and is the southernmost bridge over the Noord-Willemskanaal in the municipality of Groningen. This bridge, together with the Van Iddekinge bridge, forms the connection between the De Wijert and Corpus den Hoorn districts.
