Bunker Museum Terschelling is a museum about the Second World War on the Dutch island of Terschelling . The museum is part of the Terschelling Bunker Preservation Foundation. The complex of seven acres consists out of approximately a hundred bunkers, of which four of them function as a museum at this moment. In these bunkers it is shown how they were used during the Second World War. Of the eighty-five bunkers still present, four have been designated as museum bunkers.

We personally think this is the most beautiful piece of sandy beach on Terschelling. The beach is very wide and during our walk we hardly encountered any other people.

The drowning house is a monument located in the southwest of the Vliehors on the Wadden Island of Vlieland and furnished as a small beachcombers museum. The cottage dates from 1890 and was built here as a shelter for castaways . If a ship was wrecked in a storm, they could reach the striking white-painted cottage where blankets, simple foodstuffs and water were stored. There was also a telephone connection with a post house more than eight kilometers away.

Richel is a permanently dry sandbank in the Wadden Sea, in the gap between the Dutch islands of Vlieland and Terschelling. The sandbank has an average surface area of 116 hectares. It is completely flooded only during extremely high tides. Richel is uninhabited and virtually barren. It is too low to support any permanent vegetation. The sandbank is only able to support some temporary colonisation by the grass species sand couch.

Paardengraf Ameland is a grave for horses at Hollum on Ameland in the Dutch province of Friesland. The horses are buried in the dunes on the east side of the Lifeboat Path. It is not a horse grave with a deceased person. A memorial stone commemorates the disaster day. The stone of Swedish granite was donated to the island by the company Hoogenberg-Wegerif. The funerary monument was placed on Saturday morning December 15, 1979.

There is also a replica of a ship 's bridge and it is the base of the horse rescue boat . About fourteen times a year a demonstration is given from the center in which ten horses pull the lifeboat towards the beach southwest of Hollum.
