Started solo bike journey in the morning itself. First spot was Athirapalli. 50 rs. Entry fee for the waterfalls. There are 2 view points, one at the top of falls and other at the bottom. Need to go walk around 200 mtr down through steps to reach bottom.
After Athirapalli on the way to malakkapara through Western ghats, we have one more falls 'Vazhachal waterfalls'. Only one entry ticket needed for both Athirapalli and Vazhachal falls.
After this falls on the way to malakkappara. We can see Elephants, Indian gour, deer, lion tailed monkey etc. The road till malakkappara is not that good. The best route is malakkappara-Valparai route. Both the side of the road we can see tea plantation, reservoirs and elephants and gour in between the plantation. It was a magical view. On the way to pollachi from Valparai we can see Nilgiri tahr also
